Sail, Hike & Bike Greece

We’ve designed a unique sailing tour specifically for you if you are fitness-minded and want some physically challenging activities in your travel holiday, and want to travel with others who share the same passion. We stay away from mass-tourism hotspots, so you’ll experience authentic parts of Greece the average tourist doesn’t get to see.

Your base for the week will be a stable 38 foot sailing catamaran, but we’ll keep our sailing to under 3-4 hours per day, so that you have more time to hike, bike, swim and explore. See the itinerary for more details, and what to expect. We know this part of Greece very well, and have suggested hikes and cycling you can do around each of our sailing stops. The hiking and cycling are self-guided, but if you prefer a guide, we can arrange with licensed guides in the area.

… taking a tour with Captain Kosta is unforgettable. He knows his history. He will take you by catamaran to fish and swim in the blue, aqua warm waters and to enjoy beautiful beaches.  The tour of the Island of Spetzes was magnificent. You will never see such a view anywhere. Nafplio was my favourite. Relaxing, swimming, touring, shopping (honey and EVO oil are must buys), cafes, try the authentic Greek food  (roasted lamb, fresh farm tomatoes, try the local verde greens) nightlife, fitness routine (climb the 1200 steps).

You will not go to any tourist traps. Kosta says you can do that anytime and without him. (I am going back to Greece this summer because I enjoyed and fell in love with the country. We saw places that we would never see if it was not for such a great guide. This is not Kostas’ business but his hobby to share the love of the Peloponnese in Greece. Plan on sailing, swimming and biking! Save some time to relax! You will love it! … You will want to go back!

A one of a kind trip! As Kosta says “sailing is not a sport, it’s a lifestyle” and he will make sure you learn it from the ropes. I got to see very different picturesque Greek islands, got to learn how a sailing boat works, got to help, but still somehow Kosta knew when I was tired 😉 we did some wonderful cycling on the island of Spetses, climbed up to castles from where you can enjoy great views, enjoyed the best Greek food and swam at the most beautiful spots. The boat is also amazing! With a great sundeck to lounge, four cosy cabins and an inside and an outside living room. Kosta is a great skipper who knows the greatest places and has some fun stories to tell – ask about the Peloponnese rock-around 😉 And I’m sorry if I still don’t have a favorite part, Kosta, it was all just one amazing week of a holiday for me. Thank you so much!!!

My experience in Greece was truly unique. Kosta designed our trip with the intent to uncover Greece’s hidden treasures, cultural immersion and an emphasis on physical and mental well being … he navigated us through islands and coves that left us phenomenal swimming experiences that were not crowded and where we felt it was just ‘our’ adventure and space to enjoy. It was like a members only party! Another highlight was Cycling the 26k in Spetzes tested our endurance and the visual rewards were so worth it and offerred us a different perspective of this island. Our 6 days sail trip with Kosta turned into a pure paradise trip!! While me, living in Greece for many years, and being at different places, during the trip explored a New Greece! We’ve been at the most beautiful, exotic and exciting places of Argosaronikos. Blue transparent water like a glass, hidden beaches with rare shells, huge sea caves, as well as nice Greek forests, & villages with its nice shops and tavernas – all included to this 1 week trip.

For sure, Kosta knows the best places. Moreover, he is very polite, sincere professional who knows excellent his skipper job. We relaxed not only physically, but mentally, spiritually & emotionally too!!

Sailing with Kosta is not at all like sailing with other captains. I have joined several charter sailing excursions in the past few years and Kosta’s stands out among them. No request is too challenging for him. Changes to the itinerary, cooking fantastic meals on board, learning about navigation or technical issues, all normal daily possibilities. And not to forget, the unique and exciting excursions at any port of call, such as hiking up to a mountaintop castle, biking around an island, or even something more cultural.
